A Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-700, flight WN-441 from Chicago Midway,IL to Salt Lake City,UT (USA), was enroute at FL380 about 130nm north of Denver,CO when an expectant mother went into labour and delivered a baby boy with the assistance of a doctor on board and cabin crew, while the flight crew diverted to Denver. Cabin crew announced on the PA, that they just "boarded" a new passenger. The airplane landed safely about 20 minutes later, mother and boy were taken to a local hospital and are doing fine.
The airplane reached Salt Lake City with a delay of 90 minutes.
