Gestern war auf airliners.net ein Posting zu lesen (ich finde es nicht mehr, vielleicht gelöscht wegen Copyrightverletzung) daß die F70 Produktion möglicherweise demnächst wieder aufgenommen wird.
Es wurde eine Dow-Jones Presseinfo zitiert daß der Iran anscheinend zunächst 25-30 F70 kaufen will. Vertreter von "Rekkof" seien auch zur Zeit im Iran.
Rekkof will ja die F70 (und später F100) wieder produzieren (falls Storck als "copyright"-Inhaber zustimmt) und hat auch die ganzen Formen und Werkzeuge erworben.
Der Iran kann ja praktisch keine Flugzeuge kaufen - Boeing fällt aus, Airbus auch irgendwo wegen der Sanktionen. Nachdem in jedem Airbus ca 40% US-Anteil drinnen steckt fällt Airbus auch unter die Wirtschaftssanktionen. Die F70 hat einen sehr geringen US Anteil, die Triebwerke sind Rolls-Royce/Tay - wäre damit eine Lösung. Auch KLM City Hopper hat schon mehrfach angedeutet sie würden gerne an die 15 neue F70 erwerben.
Frage an die ForumskollegInnen:
Hätte Eurer Meinung nach ein Revival der F70 Erfolg?
Kostenmäßig würde sie weit unter den Embraer Jets liegen da die Entwicklungskosten wegfallen.

Second Persian Gulf Aviation Exhibition ends
Kish, Jan 21, IRNA -- The second 'International Aviation Exhibition' renamed 'Persian Gulf Aviation Exhibition' which opened in the southern Iranian island of Kish on January 18 ended Friday.
One of the officials of the exhibition, Bijan Bankdar, lauded the exhibition as a success, saying it led to the signing of several contracts establishing relations between consumers and producers in the field of technology.
Under an agreement signed between a Dutch company and an Iranian private sector company, the Dutch company has agreed to construct 25 Fokker planes for the Iranian company by 2007.
Iranian authorities also signed a 40-million-dollar contract for the renovation of government helicopters, the official added.
He said that 80 percent of the services and products exhibited were accounted for by the aviation industry of Iran.
Some 100 domestic and foreign companies participated with a display of their latest products and innovations in the field of aviation, including planes and helicopters.
Companies from Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Malaysia, The Netherlands, Russia, Sweden, England, Ukraine and the United Arab Emirates set up pavilions in the exhibition.
The number of Iranian companies participating in this year's exhibition surged by 46 percent compared to last year's figure as did the number of foreign companies, which registered an 86 percent rise compared to the number which participated last year.
The aviation exhibition was held in a covered 28,000-square-meter area and in a 100,000-square-meter open space.
Die Dow Jones Mitteilung war da wesentlich genauer und nahm auch Bezug auf Rekkof und Storck.
