Airbus verkauft A350 an Kuwait - Großer Auftrag für A320 aus Indien
Paris (dpa) - Airbus hat mit der kuwaitischen Leasingfirma ALAFCO einen weiteren Kunden für sein künftiges Langstreckenflugzeug A350 gewonnen. ALAFCO habe einen Vertrag zum Kauf von zwölf A350 unterzeichnet und sich eine Option auf sechs weitere Maschinen gesichert, teilte Airbus SAS am Montag mit. Das Geschäft war bereits im Juni in Aussicht gestellt worden. Die ersten Maschinen für 253 Passagiere mit einer Reichweite von 16 300 Kilometer sollen im zweiten Halbjahr 2012 nach Kuwait geliefert werden.
Die neue indische Fluggesellschaft Kingfisher erweitert nach Airbus-Angaben ihre Flotte um 30 Airbus-Flugzeuge der Typen A320 und A319. Die Maschinen sollen ab 2008 geliefert werden. Kingfisher hatte in diesem Jahr bereits fünf Großflugzeuge des Typs A380 sowie fünf A330 und fünf A350 bestellt. dpa hn xx gk

Privately owned Spanish airline Air Madrid is in talks with Airbus about buying 15 A350s, La Gaceta quoted the airline's chairman as saying on Friday.
The contract could be worth up to USD$1.5 billion, the paper said.
"We are at a reasonably advanced stage of talks with Airbus to place an order for 15 planes of the A350 model, that would be around USD$100 million per plane," Chairman Jose Luis Carrillo told the paper.
However, he said the deal was not yet in the bag.
"Nothing is finished as yet, the negotiations take a long time, but in principle we're going for a homogeneous fleet of A350s," he said.
